Committed Today for the Future of Tomorrow

Sustainability is for PANDorà not only a concept but a solid commitment: we have centred our aim of a sustainable development on the basis of practical solutions in favour of environmental protection of our territories.

We believe that a sustainable nutrition must include products made with working methods with a low environmental impact: for this reason, for our Organic Line of products we have chosen to use raw materials from a sustainable agriculture which avoid the use of pesticide, weed killers and chemical fertilizers.

There are also sustainable alternatives to the applications of energy sources that are meant to run out like fossil-fuel: therefore, we have chosen to benefit from the sustainable resources both for our ovens (all the ovens are feed with wood-pellet) and for the production of energy required for our production lines (photovoltaic system).

Eventually, aware of the amount of plastic waste that is polluting our sea and our rivers, we have chosen to pack our bakery products in a packaging made of 90% recycled plastic.

Our projects of business sustainability have been appreciated even in Europe, so much that the EU has decided to co-finance our initiatives.

Sustainable Development Means Use of Renewable Energy

The environmental choice of PANDorà for an eco-friendly future is solid: in our facility we only use clean electric energy produced with the solar power system.

Thanks to the use of renewable energy sources, PANDorà contributes to the planet’s preservation avoiding the emissions of carbon dioxide.

Oven Pellet to Reduce the Atmosphere Emissions

The application of the ovens entirely fed with wooden pellets testify our commitment for sustainable growth.

The use of biomass ovens in addition to the use of sustainable energy makes our atmosphere emission almost zero.

Eco-friendly Packaging of 90% Recycled Plastic

For its bakery products, PANDorà uses the plastic tray made of PET recycled up to 90%.

The choice of an eco-friendly packaging allows us to reduce the plastic consumption and to reduce the environmental pollution of waste displaced in nature.

Projects for a Sustainable Development
Made with the Help of the European Union

PANDorà has realised three investment projects which have obtained the financial support of the European Union through the co-financing with the resource of “POR FESR Liguria 2014-2020”.

The first project (“Asse 4 Azione 4.2.1”) has made possible the installation of a photovoltaic system for feeding the production and to contribute to minimise the emissions, to minimise the environment impacts and to optimise the whole plant efficiency.

The second project has regarded the purchase of machinery with the latest technology with the purpose of:
– increasing the safety standards;
– improving the production efficiency;
– releasing new products.

The third (Asse 1 Azione 1.1.3) has regarded the purchase of new machinery with the latest technology with the purpose of making four new products.
