Breadsticks with Cornmeal: the Ligurian Brichetti®
The cornmeal breadsticks from our production, known as “Brichetti” from the Ligurian dialect which means matchstick, represent a delicious and natural substitute of the classic breadsticks.
They are baked purely with high-quality cornmeal flour: we use this ingredient both in the dough and to cover the surface of each breadstick, this way we create an incredibly crunchy product and an enjoyable rustic taste.
The Brichetti®, hand-stretched breadsticks as it used to be, are the result of a peculiar production process which consist in a long and accurate proofing both before and after the knife-cut, as well as in a skilful processing of the cornmeal flour.
